Three Tips For Planning A Better Paintball Party

Hosting a paintball party is a great way to get together with your friends who also enjoy the sport. In order to ensure your party goes as smoothly as possible and everyone has a great time, adhere to these simple tips.

Stock Up On Extras

It's no secret that paintball requires a lot of supplies. Make sure your guests know to bring their own paintballs and CO2 cartridges, but also stock up on a few extras before the party in case someone runs out. This way, that person won't have to sit out for the rest of the game. Look for a couple of universal CO2 cartridges that fit a wide variety of guns. You may also want to purchase a CO2 refill tank from a company like Arizona Air Boutique Inc. for those who have refillable cartridges. Keep in mind that if you do not use these items at your party, you can always return them to the store.

Tell Guests About Required Protective Gear Ahead of Time

Even though there are a plethora of helmets, face guards, gloves and the like available to protect paintballers, some players still prefer to play without this protective gear. If the game is taking place on your property (or your parents' property), you want to make sure they wear their protective gear so that nobody gets hurt and names you in a lawsuit. On the invitation for the event, list what safety gear you'll require attendees to wear. Then, when your guests arrive, check to be sure they have this gear before you start playing. Requiring a helmet and a face mask is usually sufficient, but you can require gloves and a chest guard if you want to be especially vigilant.

Have an Emergency Plan

Even with everyone wearing the proper equipment, injuries can happen in paintball. Make sure you have an emergency plan in place in case someone does get hurt. Consider having everyone carry a whistle. If they or someone near them is injured, they can blow the whistle and the game will stop so you can get that person help. Make sure there is a responsible adult on site at all times, and that everyone knows has access to their phones (or at least a phone) in case someone needs to call 911. Have a first aid kit with basic bandages, antiseptic ointment, and ice packs handy, too.

If you follow the tips above, you and your friends are sure to have an enjoyable game!

About Me

family events for kids of all ages

As a family, it can be hard to find new things to go out and do together. This is especially true when the ages of your kids are spread out. For example, my oldest boy is just about to turn 18 and my youngest daughter is about to turn 3. This makes it challenging to find things that we can all do together without anyone getting bored or unable to participate in the fun. The content on this blog will give you ideas for new events and things to explore as a family. Hopefully, you will find a few ideas that will help your family get out of the house and have family fun that everyone enjoys.
